The Polish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is the exclusive association of companies and individuals involved or intending to engage in Polish-Lithuanian business relations. The Chamber collects and analyzes information on business opportunities in Poland and Lithuania, manages relations with decision-makers and stakeholders, and organizes conferences and networking events.
The Chamber contributes to the creation of a favorable climate for Polish-Lithuanian business projects, dynamic trade between the countries, inflow of investments and reducing obstacles to business cooperation between business in Poland and Lithuania.
An important form of activity is the sharing of knowledge and experience between members. Every month, the Chamber organizes club meetings for its members. They provide a platform for networking and knowledge sharing. The Chamber consists of companies and managers with extensive experience and unique expert knowledge in Polish and Lithuanian business – multiplying these resources strengthens the business potential of member organizations.
""Nowadays, we are observing an increase in the importance of a specific intangible asset – social capital, defined as a complex of knowledge, experience, social networks, mutual inspiration, trust and alliances. The Chamber is a driving force for building such social capital for its members. The formula enables effective building of social capital using the economies of scale," says the President of the Chamber.
The Chamber, bringing together renowned organizations and striving to become a reliable partner for the public administration of both countries, attaches great importance to honesty and good name. New members are thoroughly screened, and their membership is subject to an approval procedure; if a reasonable objection is raised, a member may be removed from the House of Representatives. All these procedures are to ensure that the members of the Chamber meet high standards, are reliable, transparent and ethical.
